A Word With Karen
I will use this
opportunity to give you a brief introduction to myself, my work,
the products and services that are offered throughout my website.
I have over 25 years working experience as a professional portrait
photographer, as well commercial & landscape. My home and company
are based in central California and is also within two hours of the
Pacific Ocean at Monterey, San Francisco or scenic Yosemite
National park (gateway to the eastern Sierras).
I often
photograph subjects, that are precious to me such as my
grand-children, other people's children, the coastline, Sierras,
the Eastern Sierras & the Southwest. You will be viewing some
landscape images that have been taken over the past couple of years,
of the west coast and my very most favorite places
majestic "Yosemite National Park" & Bodie Ghost
Town.

This will be a fun site to share with everyone. It will
feature candid pictures as well as studio favorites.... As a great place for kids
to share their pictures with their friends.

new as of Jan 2007 and you'll also find other links to "children's" pages under "People"
as well.

Using My Website
I have tried to offer my
visitors a website that is simple and easy to navigate. My
galleries are listed on this page at the left by subject area and
most categories contain multiple gallery image pages for that
subject . In 2007, some new people galleries have already been
published & other "People" galleries & their images have changed to
keep the viewing fresh for returning visitors.
"Click" on the word links
on any individual gallery page and it will link you to another
gallery page of images etc., etc....
The links bar at the bottom of this directory page will get you
directly to few specific areas of interest and provide you with
needed information and additional services links.
Bear in mind that this web
site will periodically evolve during the year. Some images will
change with the seasons, others will just come and go.
My newest images
of the "Eastern Sierras & Fall Colors" have been added & these
images were taken of our last
trek over to Lee Vining, Oct. 2007.
There are "NEW" "Wedding" pages, Families and High School senior
pages that have been recently added for viewing. You'll
be able to view those images by going to the people gallery
and clicking the wedding link....
Of course, this website wouldn't be complete without the latest
birthday party pictures of our grandkids, that can be found within
the "Kids Galleries"

Beyond My
Galleries
The online galleries are for your
enjoyment but I hope will offer much more. Under the
digital services link provided below, (eventually when it is
completed) will be informative. We do offer medium &
large format printing, old image restoration and other
specialty services. All editing, digital enhancement &
print enlargements are done in house.
We offer a wide variety of print and water color papers & printing
canvases that are of archival quality.
I am also a successful commercial
photographer.
I currently use a Nikon D200 digital camera for all professional work.
The Nikon lenses are used produce incredible final prints of
24x36 & larger and will still maintain high quality in print
resolution! I offer you portraiture in black & white or color as
an option. My goal is for you to end up with the best possible
image choices, that the decision of your favorite one will be
difficult to make.
